Flow Labs
traffic flow across states and cities
EXPLORE WHAT SHIPPED
Flow Labs is building the largest data asset in the transportation sector, capturing data from 43% of all vehicles in the U.S, nearly three times more than Google. In just 18 months, the platform has deployed across a dozen states.
Before Flow Labs, transportation agencies had no unified way to see what was happening on their roads in real time — just manual counts, disconnected sensors, and reports that arrived after the damage was done.

Working with Flow Labs, we built an AI-powered platform that turns real-time traffic data into the insight that keeps roads safer, faster, and cleaner.
Product Strategy
But when a gap was big enough, we built new capability from the ground up rather than forcing it into a shape it didn't fit. Either way, the goal was the same: whatever we built had to feel like part of one system, not a collection of separate tools.
Design Process
Iteration happened on two tracks at once. I led weekly stakeholder calls and worked directly with the CEO to turn conversations into features, building alongside engineering the whole way rather than handing off a finished design and waiting.
One system, built to scale
The system functioned as core infrastructure for the platform. 10,000+ components, states, and interaction patterns were built to be composable across all features
Our collaboration played a pivotal role in Flow Labs securing multiple city and state contracts across the country, driving their growth in the transportation sector, and optmizing thousands of intersections
Website + Brand
I led the Flow Labs website redesign from the ground up; restructuring the IA, building a new design system, creating all visual assets needed for the website, and directing a team of animators for motion design,.
To respect client confidentiality, this case study is just a high-level overview. If you're hiring and want the full story, I'd love to walk you through it.
