Before Flow Labs, transportation agencies had no unified way to see what was happening on their roads in real time — just manual counts, disconnected sensors, and reports that arrived after the damage was done.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Working with Flow Labs, we built an AI-powered platform that turns real-time traffic data into the insight that keeps roads safer, faster, and cleaner.

Led the design of new core platform features, shaping the dashboard experience

Rebuilt the Flow Labs website with a brand refresh, to position the company as a leader in an industry it was actively transforming.

Built scalable design systems for both product and web, giving the engineeering team a foundation to implement with quick turnaround times

Product Strategy

Every addition to the platform came down to the same question: does this extend something agencies already trust, or does the problem deserve something entirely new? Most growth came from deepening existing workflows, features that fit naturally into the product's existing logic.

But when a gap was big enough, we built new capability from the ground up rather than forcing it into a shape it didn't fit. Either way, the goal was the same: whatever we built had to feel like part of one system, not a collection of separate tools.

Design Process

Iteration happened on two tracks at once. I led weekly stakeholder calls and worked directly with the CEO to turn conversations into features, building alongside engineering the whole way rather than handing off a finished design and waiting.

Website + Brand

I led the Flow Labs website redesign from the ground up; restructuring the IA, building a new design system, creating all visual assets needed for the website, and directing a team of animators for motion design,.
